I'm Ashamed to Call Myself an American
Not even five days into 2026, and already stuff is messed up. I'm sure you've all heard of the United States invading Venezuela and capturing the president. Honestly, this is just really confusing.
Like yea, he was a ruthless dictator ruining the economy, and you can clearly see local Venezuelans celebrating his capture, but can the US really just yoink someone from their country and indict them on US charges & not Venezuelan charges?
And now with the president making threats to Cuba & Greenland, it's just really scary stuff. I'm ashamed to call myself an American. I never thought we would stoop so low and just ruin our reputation like this. To anyone who isn't American: I am sorry. I would do anything to leave this god forsaken country if I could, but the abusive family says otherwise.
