October 2024 Recap
October was a slow month for me. Every month is kind of slow for me, to be honest, but a few things have happened:
- I went to the Sonic Symphony in Chicago.
- I've taken every single Metra train.
The Sonic Symphony didn't go well for me. I went last year, which was really fun. I went this year, and I left right after they started the concert portion of the event. During the symphony portion, there was this group of people who kept on yelling and screaming and it was annoying for me. And then when the concert portion started, I immediately felt ashamed and left out, so I just upped and left. We also had pretty bad seats, but that's something you can't complain about.
On the flip side, I've taken every single Chicago Metra train. On the 24th, I took the Southwest Service train to Orland Park. What was I doing there? To get a stamp at the LEGO Store at the Orland Square shopping mall. Was it a stupid reason to go? Probably. Was it fun? Definitely. You can blame my autism for that.
